Cap is 1 month's rent (up to 2 months allowed only by written agreement for certain assistance-eligible tenants). Interest: Treasury 1-yr yield or 1.5%/yr, whichever greater, on deposits of $50+ held 6+ months. Move-in inspection is tenant-requested by certified mail within 15 days of occupancy.
